My company strives to recycle. It is simple, yet how to do this was a little more difficult. After much thought, I came up with the Return Jar Policy.
Honey bees already have a positive effect on the world, they pollinate flowers. The honey the bees produce also has positive effects, but it is a shame since honey comes in a bottle. As consumers we use the honey and just discard the bottle. That bottle then ends up in a landfill as pollution and negatively effects the land.
With my Return Jar Policy I’ve saved around ten percent of my jars from going in the landfill and am making plans to increase that number! You can help this mission by following this policy and by supporting my business. We take honey from the bees, now it is time for us to give back to them and the earth. Don’t throw your trash away, reuse it!
