Honey bees eggs look like tiny grains of rice while larva are a little bigger and curled. The biggest larvae in this picture is almost ready to be capped.

After a while the larva get capped in the cells. Capped worker cells are flat as seen in this picture, they are capped after eleven days. Capped drone cells are like the worker cells but they are bumped out.

The long peanut shaped thing in the middle of this picture is a queen cell. See Queen Cells or Swarms for more information.
