A brood break is a way to treat for Varroa Mites that is completely natural and doesn’t
involve chemicals, this is what I use for my bees. A brood break is when you make a
split and leave the bees to make their own queen, this stops the production of eggs in
the hive and since mites lay their eggs with the bee eggs they now no longer have a
place to lay their eggs and their population will drop significantly. See Splits for details
