Founded in 2019, my first year in beekeeping. Originally it was named Bee Happy Honey Products but I changed that when I started to only sell honey (see Honey Shop to place your order now).

This first label was inspired by the colors I saw in the hives, dark brick red in the tongue of the honey bee, and obviously yellow and orange in the bee. Cursive was a new font to me so I wanted to incorporate it in my label.

The second label went with a more basic theme. I wanted something to look more mature so I got rid of the cursive and went with something that looked more like a computer font.

The previous label had my dad’s phone number on it so when he stopped working with the bees I decided to change to a label without his phone number on it. It was a hurried label, made as a temporary replacement but done on the computer to give it a cleaner look as compared to the previous hand-drawn labels. (This label has been lost)

To give me the ability of selling in stores this label was the first to be printed on a sticker. This was the first label with a logo giving me an icon that was simple, easily recognized, set apart, and able to be put on most anything related to my business not just honey jars. I pulled the dark brick red from the fist logo and a yellow orange that reminded me of Propolis.

The business card has a picture of a Queen Bee on the reverse side of it, this is a Carniolan queen that is marked with a white dot on the back of her to make her easier to spot (see Queen Marking).

The prices of honey have never changed for us, proudly we have escaped inflation thus far! Recycling has also been of large importance to my business as seen with the Return Jar Policy, by supporting my business and returning jars you help keep those bottles out of landfills and rivers.

Thank you for your time!
